Representatives from New Age Metal, our VP of Operations (Dominick Cassara) and Production Manager (Giovana Seitz), were one of only a few suppliers for BAE Communications that were invited to participate in Six Sigma training. This training has led to the establishment of two initial charters: Engineering and Final Inspection. These charters have an anticipated completion date of June. Completion of these projects and their weeks of training, will result in our VP of Operations and Production Manager receiving Sig Sigma Green Belts.
In February, Tom Fivehouse joined New Age Metal Fabricating as Quality Manager. He has more than 30 year’s experience in quality systems. He has worked in a broad range of companies and industries, but has a strong background in Defense and Aerospace. He has extensive experience in establishing and maintaining ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Systems as well as with a wide-range of quality tools and CAPA systems. He is a senior member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. He is also a certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
New Age Metal Fabricating is happy to welcome the latest addition to our engineering department: Michael OReilly, Mechanical Engineer. Michael comes to us from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
