NAMF operates multiple Bystronic Laser Cutting Systems. Bystronic is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of high-precision laser cutting machinery. NAMF operates two Bystronic CNC laser cutting systems that utilize high energy efficient 1800 Watt CO2 and 4400 Watt CO2 lasers. Enhanced pulsing techniques provide consistent cutting edge condition and shorter piercing time.
Bystronic laser cutting systems utilize direct drive axis motors. The high precision rack and pinion drives provide an extremely accurate cutting process across the entire table. NAMF utilizes a built-in loading station that supports fully automated manufacturing, running with either a single operator or in unattended mode as a (FMS) Flexible Manufacturing System cell. NAMF's newest laser cutting system features a sheet storage system which stores and administers the sheet stacks and cut parts with a skeleton in it's two storage racks (36 trays).
The cycle time of going from blueprint to cutting is greatly reduced compared to traditional CNC punching.
